During the 1950's and 1960's Yugoslav cinema experienced a true golden age, and film studios of Belgrade were often referred to as the "European Hollywood." Many famous American, Italian, Soviet and other popular world actors of that time came to act in some of these Yugoslavian films - this is especially true for the 1960 - 1975 period.
